Breathe Linux

Today is my second class in Linux. We learned very brief history about Linux and also about different Distros, or flavors and the type of users that can affect a Linux system. We also learned about the directory structure. We had a hands on demonstration, which lasted for about 2 hours, and we all learned it by our heart. We also learned installing Linux but in single boot only. But, I eventually learned to dual boot the system with a Windows system and in Legacy Mode. While returning home I bought an used PC to run Linux on and not touch my "working" PC. All my personal files and work documents are saved in this PC, so didn't want to risk losing them since I am not a pro level user of Linux yet. The configuration for the "new" PC is: Intel Dual Core E5300 @ 2.0 GHz Intel G41 series motherboard 4GB of DDR2 RAM 160GB HDD And scavenged a casing from my old collection. This is my very first post on my blog, and I intend to update this blog as my one and only blog and update it regularly. Since, this is the very first post, I will share a bit of "boring" history. I completed my O-Levels back in 2008 and A-Levels back in 2010 under CIE curriculum. Later in 2016 I completed my graduation in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. I got introduced to Linux, namely Ubuntu, back in 2014, by my professor teaching the class of Operating Systems. I got so attached to the environment that I wanted to be a part of this system. As a result, I asked my professor to advise me in this regard. But, she was unable to do so. Here I am in 2017 and I just got to know about System Administration just in May and right then I knew what I wanted from my life. In June 2017 I joined the training institute to become a System Administrator.
